TAU’s location is only a short ten minute bus ride or even a short twenty minute bike ride away from the city center. Should we tell you more?

Apart from being really well situated you will get to enjoy our beautiful 220 acre green lively campus filled with 30,000 students many being international as well as many being locals. You will be able to immerse yourself in Israeli culture while at the same time taking fascinating courses taught in English. Our program has Hebrew language classes incorporated that fit your level for the benefit of feeling confident while becoming one more Tel Avivian.

There are many benefits of becoming a Student at TAU, one is that you will have access to a discounted gym rate which offers three pools (one olympic size one) a great indoor gym and an always visited gymnasium. There are tennis courts on campus, as well as volleyball courts spread out throughout the open areas. The campus comes alive with weekly social and cultural events.

The academic program is preceded by a mandatory intensive Hebrew language course, called an Ulpan, to prepare you for life in Israel. A summer Ulpan is seven weeks, and an abbreviated four-week Ulpan is offered for students who will begin their studies in the Spring Semester. It offers students at all levels of language proficiency the ability to substantially develop their Hebrew skills.

Students take a full schedule of courses taught in English from our rich and diverse course schedule. A final updated course schedule is posted prior to the beginning of each semester. Each course awards 3 academic credits.

Fall/ Year abroad students will enroll in the Summer Ulpan which will award them 6 academic credits (total for the Fall abroad 21 credits)
Spring Semester Abroad students will enroll in the Winter Ulpan which will award them 4 academic credits ( total for the Spring abroad 19 credits)
